Layer Oxfordは、クラシックなダービーシューズとスニーカー、それぞれの構造から出発しています。 ダービーの馴染みあるフォルムに、スニーカーに見られる長いレーシングとパネル構造を重ね、異なる性格を持つ要素をひとつの形の中に再配置しました。 クラシックシューズの端正さを残しながら、プロポーションとディテールに変化を加えることで、特定のスタイルに限定されず、さまざまな装いに自然と馴染む形をつくりました。

Layer Oxford begins with the structures of a classic derby shoe and a sneaker. Extended lacing and panel details drawn from sneakers are layered over the familiar form of a derby, rearranging two distinct elements within a single silhouette. While retaining the refined character of a classic shoe, its proportions and details are adjusted to create a form that moves naturally across different styles.
