Layer Bootは、Layer Derbyの構造をブーツのプロポーションへ拡張することから始まりました。 ローカットシューズで用いた長いレーシング構造と重なり合うパネルを、ブーツの高いシルエットへと延長し、一般的なレースアップブーツとは異なる縦方向のバランスをつくっています。 高いシャフトが生み出す力強いフォルムを残しながら、後部にジッパーを設けることで、日常でよりスムーズに着脱できるよう構成しました。

Layer Boot begins by extending the structure of the Layer Derby into the proportions of a boot. The elongated lacing and layered panels of the low shoe continue upward through the taller silhouette, creating a vertical balance distinct from a conventional lace-up boot. The strong presence created by the tall shaft is retained, while a rear zipper allows for easier everyday wear.
